But then WOD came into our lives-like a true blessing. With their love, patience, and the generous support from their organization and community, she helped us in ways we will never forget. We were given fresh groceries and furniture for my children and me-acts of kindness that brought us comfort, stability, and most importantly, hope. It reminded us that we were not alone. I am so grateful to have found Women on Deck at the time that I did. I was transitioning into a new apartment after a difficult transition in my life and contacted every place you can imagine for help with moving services. This organization came through for me at such a moment of need and it truly felt like an angelic support. I am so grateful to have the biggest helping hand for such a big project.
